Hello and welcome!
My name is Marcia Murrow and I would love to introduce you to
Lillie Acres Riding Stable in Weyauwega Wisconsin. Lillie Acres is a trail
riding/boarding facility which has been running successfully for the past seven
years offering guided trail rides to locals and tourists alike. We use the
highest quality horses and employ a friendly, caring staff to ensure a memorable,
safe ride for all ages.
As the owner of Lillie Acres, I have been working with horses
all my life- begining with a stable owned by my mother, Beverly Lillie. After
settling in our current location in Weyauwega Wisconsin, I decided it was time to
share my lifelong knowledge and love of horses with others. Lillie Acres was
born from a dream of teaching others about the horse in a safe, accessible, and
fun way.
Trail rides are guided through one of two beautiful wooded trails:
the Waupaca County Forest, or an eighty-eight acre parcel of land adjacent to the
facility. We ride for forty-five minutes at a walk/trot, according to the
ability level of our guests. Rides are $22 per person.
Birthday parties and riding lessons are also available upon
request. Also, be sure to check out our day camps, found on our page links,
new to the 2007 summer season!
I will be on hand to guide trails, oversee camp activities,
and give riding lessons. I will also be assisted by my wonderful staff including:
two college girls who have been with me for several years, a mother going to school
to become a Vet, and several younger girls who have
made Lillie Acres their second
home over the last few years.
