Dear Camper,
My name is Marcia Murrow and I would love to introduce you to Lillie Acres Riding
Stable. Lille Acres is a trail riding/boarding facility which is looking to expand
its program to include children’s day camps in the summer of 2007. The stable has
been running successfully for the past seven years offering guided trail rides to
locals and tourists alike. We use the highest quality horses and employ a friendly,
caring staff. This new business venture will incorporate both, with the intention
of teaching children about the joys of correct horsemanship.
As the owner of Lillie Acres, I have been working with horses all my life beginning
at a stable owned by my mother Beverly Lillie. After settling in our current
location of Weyauwega, WI, I decided it was time to share my lifelong knowledge
and love of horses with others. Lillie Acres was born from a dream of teaching others
about the horse in a safe, accessible, and fun way. Trail riding, however, can only
teach a person so much. That is why I am offering these camps, so that horse lovers
everywhere may have the chance to learn the full benefits of correct horsemanship.
The day camps will run 8 a.m.- 4 p.m. on six select weeks: June 12-15, June 19-22,
July 10-13, July 24-27, August 7-10, and August 14-17. (The last date is reserved
for advanced riders.) The camps are designed for people of all ages, with experiences
ranging from beginners to advanced riders. Each camp will be limited to only ten
campers to ensure plenty of one-on-one personalized attention. The cost is $280
for four days.
The itinerary is as varied as the participants in an effort to allow campers to
experience as much as possible. Upon arrival, we will match horses to campers according
to skill and personality,

then we will begin to learn about the horse from the ground
up! Topics to be covered include horse anatomy, safety, equipment, care management,
and of course, riding. Demonstrations are scheduled to give campers a glimpse of
the professional horse world; these demonstrations will be based on the level of
the camp.
Throughout the camp I will be on hand to teach and guide each child. I will also
be assisted by my staff, which includes: two college girls who have been with me
for several years, a mother going to school to become a Vet, and several younger
girls who have made Lillie Acres their second home over the last few years. If you are interested in reserving a space, or if you have any questions regarding
Lillie Acres, please feel free to contact me, Marcia Murrow, at (920) 867-2291 or

We hope to hear from you soon!
Sincerely,
Marcia Murrow
